Warehouse Circus (ACT)
Warehouse Circus is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the mental and physical health of young people through the medium of social circus based in Canberra.
They have been providing social circus classes since 1990. And have a host of programs including core circus programs for beginner, intermediate and advanced performers, adult classes, school holiday programs, and workshops and performances for community festivals and other events.
Warehouse Circus along with the rest Australia’s Youth and Social Circus sector are the lifeblood of our community. Providing a bedrock of skills, safe risk-taking, personal growth and life lessons in an inclusive safe environment and providing opportunities that foster artistic vibrancy, diversity and innovation in young circus artists. They often also provide spaces for independent artists to train.
They build culture and create lasting positive social change.
This is a short film highlighting the underlying values behind Warehouse Circus. Created by volunteer filmmakers.
