‘Life At the Circus’ – Video series by Cath Wood
I have just spent the last week with my kids at the Western Australian Circus Festival. This amazing festival in Karridale WA has been running for the last 11 years and the festival director & fearless leader Matt ‘Fatso’ Yates has been trying to get me over for years and after experiencing it I kick myself that I didn’t get there sooner.
While I try and find time here whilst show minding Club Swizzle at Perth Fringe to edit my own video and stills here’s an awesome video series that the excellent Cath Wood (who has been working on the festivals from the beginning in many and varied roles) made. She gave herself the challenge of making a ‘one take unedited’ video every day for thirty days – which is a huge call when you are the catering manager of the festival, organising to feed 100’s of people 3 meals a day for weeks on end and when you have to upload via tethering to your phone in a less than ideal reception area.
Huge big ups to you Cath for completing your challenge under duress – let’s not mention vomitageddon!
Heres some examples of the daily video and you can see the whole series on Caths website – HERE
Enjoy!
Hope you enjoyed those little glimpses,

Thanks Cath!
Peace & respect to all,
