The Manifesto 22#
I’m an over-thinker.
I’ve always attempted to think my way out of difficult situations and life challenges.
It’s only been recently that I have started to also feel my way through. By tuning in.
The majority of our decisions are guided by our emotions so it makes sense that we understand them and connect to them.
Connecting our thoughts to our feelings can change how we see things. For example, my hyperactivity and busy mind is a reaction to not wanting to look too closely at myself. Staying busy is a way to avoid my inner self. However, the busy mind stops me connecting to my feelings and therefore to others.
In order to change this about myself, I need to slow my mind down. I understand this about myself because I have tuned in. My mind has asked a question and my body has answered.
What can you learn about yourself by tuning in?
