The Manifesto 1#
As part of the work I’m doing with a few of my clients I’ve been thinking about the idea of finding a balance between staying present in the moment, while also dreaming up future plans. There’s good things about both. Being present helps reduce anxiety and prevents us missing important moments, but having dreams and plans can help us feel like we are moving forward in life. The important thing is that you make choices that help you grow.
My favourite existentialist Irvin Yalom says it best.
“Not to take possession of your life plan is to let your existence be an accident.”
