We are going to feature a bunch of his Adelaide shots on here and thought we’d start with a little Gallery featuring Rebel (Circus. Bowie. Glam rock spectacle.),Rouge ( Acrobatics. Operatic cabaret and tongue in cheek burlesque) and Shake It (Burlesque, circus variety).
Rebel Performers: Stewart James Reeve, Jane Schofield, Cat Scobie, Rachel Trainor, Winter Cyan, Chris Singer

Shake It Performers: Minnie Andrews, Memphis Mae, Ciara Thorburn, Adam Malone, André Augustus, Annalise Moore, Lyndon Johnson
The link between these shows is they are all produced or co-produced by Highwire Entertainment – the brainchild of the formidable creative producer Elena Kirschbaum (who is also the Co-Producer of Gluttony).
(We’ll go into Elena’s story soon on the magazine!)

Mark Turner – Contributing Photographer
Mark is a Canberra based performing arts photographer. While experienced in dance, music and theatre based shooting, he specialises in Circus as that is where his true photographic passion lies. Working with trad and contemporary circus performers, Mark looks for that different perspective. Face to face with a lion, harnessed up a king pole, inside a globe of death or atop a catchers cradle, Mark is keen to mix it up in the unique environment of circus. Having taken his first circus photos in 2010, Mark was instantly hooked with shooting this wonderful art form and having experienced close to 200 circus shoots, he has packed a lot of circus into this time.
