This Pic of The Week is of rigger, builder and maker extraordinaire Chad Albinger and performer, trainer and all-round good man Benjamin Lewis, during a tech rehearsal at the Mullum Circus Festival 2015.
I love this shot, not just my friendship with these two men but it speaks to me of collaboration, communication, connection and trust. Ben had just got to the festival straight from a season of Club Swizzle at Brisbane Festival and although he and Chad only had a very limited time to whip up their straps act (counterweighted aerials to me is always a double act), because they had worked together a lot before there was that level of trust and connection and the act was flawless.
