Photography Pic of the week – Hamish McCormick written by Hamish McCormick Pic Of The Week – Hamish McCormick This ‘Pic of the week’ is a photo of me (Hamish McCormick) taken by my dad – photographer & documenter John W McCormick – in 1993. I was 12 years old at the time and I dedicated most of my free time to juggling, diablo and unicycling. My parents were once told that I didn’t apply myself to my homework, which my dad thought was a bit ridiculous as he saw me practice for hours on end, applying myself just fine in his eyes. You will see dad’s pictures pop up more on this site – he has spent over 40 years documenting artists, theatre makers (and through me circus performers), musicians and the community in the Byron Shire (Northern NSW Australia). I got my love of documenting through him, the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree. This pic was taken in black n white and then hand coloured by dad (putting in a sneaky shadow using pre-photoshop techniques). I love this shot, Cheers Hamish Pic of the week – Hamish McCormick was last modified: June 29th, 2017 by Hamish McCormick June 27, 2017 0 comment 0 Facebook Twitter Google + Pinterest
