The Manifesto The Manifesto 15# – Kareena Hodgson written by Carnival Cinema The Manifesto 15# Not everyone feels joy around this time of year. For many it can trigger painful feelings around displacement, estrangement with families, loneliness, addiction/recovery, financial hardship, perfectionism and social isolation. The best gift you can anyone is compassion. Don’t assume it’s easy for everyone. Don’t assume everyone has plans. Be mindful of your community and reach out, check in and notice how people are. Most importantly, show yourself compassion. If it’s a difficult time of year for you, call a friend, skype someone in a far away place, do the things that you know make you feel good, remember that it will pass, call me.
