Series Background
Back in February the GOM crew got me down to document them making & premiering their latest work BACKBONE at Adelaide Festival 2017. I was to make the show promotional material and a little ‘behind the scenes’ video. When I got to the edit I realised I had more material that I wanted to put out than would fit on just one video, so I decided to make this series instead.Sticks & Stones takes you not only ‘behind the scenes‘ of BACKBONE but also gives you a rare insight into the workings of one of Australia’s leading circus companies, how they create work, train their skills and run a company.
