Small Steps Project
This video is a behind-the-scenes look at Alex Mizzen‘s research project ‘Small Steps’ back in 2015.
Small Steps is about exploring the world where classical ballet meets/influences circus and vice versa.
This doesn’t happen enough, artists getting supported supported through funding to gather a group of creatives they want to collaborate with (and be able to pay them!) and experiment with form and ideas.
The Small Steps project was supported by Arts Queensland for funding & Flipside Circus‘s artist in residence program, 2015.
Creative team: Alex Mizzen, Suzanne Simpson, Chelsea McGuffin, Louise Deleur.
